Setting up your mailbox on our shared server is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to create and configure your email account:
Step 1: Access Plesk Control Panel

Log in to your Plesk control panel. Typically, you can access it by navigating to https://yourdomain.com:8443 in your web browser.

Enter your Plesk username and password to log in.
Step 2: Create an Email Account

In the Plesk dashboard, navigate to Mail from the left-hand menu.

Click on Create Email Address.

Fill in the following details:

Email Address: Enter the desired email address (e.g., user@yourdomain.com).

Password: Enter a strong password for your email account. You can also click Generate to create a strong password automatically.

Mailbox: Ensure the Mailbox option is checked.

Mailbox Quota: Set the mailbox storage limit, if applicable.

Click OK to create the email account.
Step 3: Configure Email Client (Optional)
You can access your email via webmail or configure an email client like Outlook, Apple Mail, or Thunderbird.
For Outlook:

Open Outlook and go to File > Add Account.

Enter your email address and click Connect.

Select IMAP or POP settings (IMAP is recommended for synchronizing across devices).

Enter the following details:

Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com

Username: Your full email address.
-
Password: The password you created.

Click Next and then Finish.
For Apple Mail:

Open Apple Mail and go to Mail > Add Account.

Select Other Mail Account and click Continue.

Enter your name, email address, and password.

Click Sign In and configure the incoming and outgoing mail server settings:

Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com

Click Done.
Step 4: Access Your Mailbox via Webmail

Open your web browser and go to https://webmail.yourdomain.com.

Log in with your email address and password.

Choose your preferred webmail application (e.g., Roundcube, Horde).
Troubleshooting Tips

Ensure your domain’s DNS settings include the correct MX records.

Verify your email client settings for accuracy.

Check if your firewall or antivirus is blocking email ports (IMAP: 143, POP3: 110, SMTP: 25, 587).
